在2個5吋披薩為39.26平方吋的情形下，一份就約為19.63平方吋，羅伊說即使給他3個5吋披薩也不比1個9吋來得大，所以何來多給1吋免費披薩之說呢？也由於羅伊的如此精算，最後老闆給了他4個5吋披薩，才將事件平息。

而結局雖然有結束，不過羅伊依舊在自己推特上寫下：「認真看待數學」（Take Maths seriously），不僅引網熱議，也讓人知道懂數學才不會讓自己吃虧啊！
